About
I taught English, French, and Japanese for over 18 years in Asia, Africa, and the US. I have an MA in TESL from the School for International Training in Vermont, USA. Now I concentrate on writing and editing ELT textbooks and conducting teacher training workshops. I also run a small press that publishes (among other things) ELT materials for both students and teachers. My areas of specialty and interest include teaching writing, teaching reading, academic English, testing, and humor.Sessions

Synchronous (Session) Publishing with a Small Press more
Sun, Nov 7, 12:00-13:15 Asia/Seoul
As traditional publishers have moved more towards global coursebooks and series, a wave of small presses have appeared, with an interest in innovative, experimental, or niche titles. This panel features a variety of authors from Wayzgoose Press talking about their different paths to publication and why they chose a small press over a larger publisher or self-publishing. We’ll also talk about what kinds of projects are best suited for a small press and how to approach one with your own ideas. MYSTERY EASTER EGG
